Fruit Inspection

If laughter really is the best medicine, then consider me well medicated! Yesterday I bought Jim Gaffigan’s audio CD “Beyond the Pale” and listened to it while running to appointments and meetings all afternoon. I can’t remember a time when I laughed so hard.

The first time I heard his comedy routine was last year when we had XM Satellite Radio in my Escalade and I reguarly tuned in to the all comedy channel. I still remember sitting in the drive thru at Zaxby’s and listening to his bit on ordering by number at fast food restaraunts. I was cracking up through the whole thing. Since then I’ve seen him a couple times on late night TV and I just think he is so funny!

As I was heading home yesterday the CD was playing his act about a Hot Pocket and I nearly had to pull off the side of the road. I had gone beyond laughing out loud to where my mouth was smiling so big it hurt but no sound was coming out. (Very attractive to other drivers, I’m sure!) Then my eyes filled with tears and I couldn’t hardly make out where the pavement was anymore. OH MY GOSH!!!! It was SOOOOOO hilarious!!!!! I may have injured myself from laughing so hard!
