Weekly Memory Verse: “Teach us, Lord, to make the most of our time, so that we may grow in wisdom.”
This morning I read in 2 Chronicles about Solomon, who was asked of God just before becoming King, “ask whatever you want for me to give you” (1:7). WOW! Can you imagine God asking us a question like that? Solomon asked for wisdom above all else, so he could make the best decisions for his kingdom and his people.
I wish I had some of God’s wisdom right now as we are looking for a place to build our next house. Where should it go and how much should we spend? Putting our current home on the market is requiring faith, but for our upcoming purchase, we need wisdom.
The best way to attain God’s wisdom and discernment is through His written Word. I have heard of people who had been questioning something and they open their Bible one day to a page and a verse that gives them the answer they’ve been longing for. Well, that’s never happened to me. So I will continue to do as the memory verse for today states, to make the most of my time, being obedient to study His Word, that I too may grow in wisdom.

Yes it has happened to you-today! You need wisdom the most and that is the verse you read today! I think
that is awesome. Now you will probably feel God’s hand a little more in every decision concerning
the house situation. Remember: Jeremiah 29:11 – 13. “For I know the (house) plans I have for you….Ha”
what’s wrong with your current house!?!
