I have been asked to join a group of women at our church next Sunday for a Prayer Retreat. I am so excited about it! From what I understand so far, it takes place after the last morning service. Each woman is assigned a room within the church, and for 3 hours we do nothing but pray. OMG…3 hours…alone…praying…no distractions! How will I possibly manage that?
I am kidding obviously. It’s going to be great. My one big concern is coming up with 3 hours worth of stuff to talk to God about. So I am opening up my comments this week to accepting prayer requests. They will only be for me, I will not be sharing them with the group. And if you have a request that is personal, just use the “contact me” button and it will privately go directly to my email.
Oh, and if you are so inclined, please pray for me as I am hoping that this will be an awesome opportunity to renew my Spirit and bring me back in touch with the love of God. His mercy, His guidance, His will for my life.

That will be such a great reviving time for you, and how wonderful of your women to do it.
It sounds wonderful!
I would love if you prayed for my mom. She was supposed to come stay with Jackson this week but her doctor found two lumps. She is getting an ultrasound on one tomorrow and surgery on the other Thursday. Please pray that they are benign and there is no cancer!
Blessings~
Jodi, I would love for you to pray for Noah. As you know, he has a stutter. Some days he will go without stuttering at all. Other days, it is every other word. Because it has been going on for a couple of years now, it may not be something he outgrows. He is in speech therapy weekly now. While I know that the Lod may choose for him to keep the stutter and use it for His glory, as Noah’s Mommy, I want him to be healed completely. He is getting to an age where kids are noticing, and, worse yet, adults get distracted and lose interest when he is talking to them because it takes him so long to get it out. That only frustrates him more, making the stutter worse. And, you can imagine what that does to me! I have a really hard time watching people (especially family) when they are with him. He does so much better when you give him eye-to-eye contact and really show him you are listening. It relaxes him and he slows down his speech. Anyway, sorry this is so long. I’m praying for complete healing before he suffers too much teasing, etc. Thanks for praying!
Amy-I will pray for Noah too. He’s so sweet!
