Like all other 4 year old girls that I know, Savannah loves to play tea party. It has evolved over the past few years. Going from simply playing with the dishes, to setting the table properly, to inviting “friends”, to wanting actual food at the party. Now she pours “tea” (aka: juice) and serves cookies. Most recently she began asking us what we would like. She writes it down like a waitress, prepares it, then gives it to us along with a “receipt”. And then we are supposed to pay her.
Here is what happened last time we played:
Her: “Here is your coffee Ma’am. Be careful, it’s hot.”
Me: “Oh, thank you. It’s delicious.”
Her: “You’re welcome. Here is your receipt.”
(She hands me a piece of paper with a 2 and a 7 written on it.)
Me: “What? Is this $27.00? That seems a lot for coffee. Where did you get it from?”
Her (nonchalantly): “Starbucks.”

Well, for Starbucks…that sounds about right.
Oh WOW that is too funny! LOL But…kinda true.
Hope you have a great weekend!
God bless :)
HYS-TERICAL! Sounds like you visit Starbuck’s as much as I do!
I love it. I think I’d like to visit her coffee shop!
She’s telling on you, Mom! Toooooooooo funny!
That is so very precious! We have what we call coffee talk where I make them milk and a little sugar or chocolate and I have my coffee and we talk!
It is too funny! My kids are way to familiar with Starbucks too!

Ha ha by the time she gets old enough to buy her own it may be that price. So cute!
