It must be confusing for Emery. I mean, his heart and soul is in cars, trucks, motorcycles, baseballs, and loud noises. But he spends his days playing with his sister, who is all about ponies, makeup, dresses, and accessories. It is not uncommon to hear Emery in the other room vrooming and screaching tires, yelling “OH NO…CRASH!!!!”, then peel around the corner wearing a pair of glass slippers.
Yes, I laugh. Jeremy…not so much.
But today he caught me off guard. I was not expecting to see this:
I put him down for a nap and then went outside to walk the dog. I came back in expecting to have another hour or so before he woke up, but instead as I walked through the front door, I saw him sitting on the steps with Savannah’s sparkly pink princess tights halfway up and partway covering the dinosaur sweat pants he had not yet removed!
I busted out laughing and said, “Emery what are you doing son? Shouldn’t you be in bed?” And that’s when he showed me this:
“Wook Mommy, dere’s a pincess on my weg!”

Oh my! I fear my stories will be just the opposite! I fully expect Addilyn to wear ninja costumes and spiderman suits:)
Ah, boys!
LOL. My little “Renaissance Man”
Ok, that is too funny! It brought a nice smile on my face!! And a chuckle too!!!
Oh no, he is too cute!! It’s so smart of you to take pictures of these times. They go so fast. I have 3 boys(and 2 girls) and it is so easy to forget how silly they can be! Thanks for sharing!
