Last week I bought the coolest pair of capri camo pants. And no, I’m not a teenager trapped in a 36 year old body. I really think the camoflauge look is cute. Yes, Really! But not all of it would look so good on me. Like the skinny camo bermuda shorts I found at American Eagle. Not good. Do young people even wear underwear anymore???
Before Jeremy left for his fishing trip we made a last minute run to Bass Pro Shop. If you’ve never been there, don’t knock it. I love to go there. They have a huge fish tank for the kids, games, a rock climbing wall, and lots of home decor with country music being pumped through the speaker system. Quality entertainment, People. Quality entertainment.
As we were making our second trip through the spinner bait aisle I left the kids with Jeremy to check out the ladies apparel. Again, don’t knock it. They’ve got some cute things in there. And on this particular trip, I found the most perfect pair of capri camo pants. I couldn’t wait to get home and wear them the next day.
That morning I was standing in the kitchen sporting my new digs and Savannah walked in. She stared at me curiously, focusing in on my pants. Her brow was furrowed. Then she looked up at me with her nose crinkled and said, “Are you going hunting???”
Emery was next to come down for his cereal. He didn’t skip a beat as he ran past me laughing and saying, “Moooommy, you’re silly. Wearing Papa’s pants!!!”

OH that is too cute! I bet you looked great in them.
Blessings,

I like the camo look too – my boys think it’s “cool” when I wear my camo capris.
Sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to you – but what size are you looking for for Emery? I have lots of 2T (I think that’s what you’d said) but only in Fall/Winter. I didn’t really need that size for summer.
Anyway, email me – I may have some stuff you want anyway – and if you want it, you can just HAVE it.
Talk to you soon!
That’s great. So funny. I remember when I was trying to teach my children that our righteous acts are nothing compared
to the righteousness of God. I said, “It’s like my teeth. They look white until I put something really white next to them and then they
look yellow.” On cue one of my children said, “Mom, I always thought your teeth looked yellow.”
I love camo on girls – especially with a cute pink t-shirt! And Noah would have said the same exact thing as Savannah:)
All I said (to Jessica) was, “I didn’t even see her walk by!”
