Fruit Inspection

I am on my church’s prayer and praise email list. I get more emails from Brother Jimmy than I do anyone else. It seems that he is the first to know whenever babies are born, someone is in an accident, or anyone is hurting or in need.

Yesterday I got an email asking for urgent prayer. Apparently an elderly couple from our area were missing. I did not know them personally, but from their home address I could tell that they lived only a few miles from us. The last person to see them was their daughter. She saw them driving in their Lincoln Towncar on Thursday.

Today I caught the tailend of the morning news. A special report announced that the couple had been found. Turns out that they had gone to the Waffle House here in our town, gotten confused on the way home, and drove for an entire day before being stopped by a State Patrol officer.

Moral of the Story: Ladies, don’t try to change your husband. They never change. Even an 86 year old man will drive into the depths of Alabama before asking for directions!
