Last year we were supposed to go to the Georgia Renaissance Festival but it got rained out. Not that I was too disappointed. The Renaissance Festival is one of those things that as a homeschooler, I’d always thought would be fun to go to. But the one in Georgia is REALLY far from our house, and we have to be there SO EARLY, that although I have considered going for several years, we never actually made it.
I was thrilled to discover that the Florida Renaissance Festival was going on about 15 minutes from my house. Woo-Hoo!!! And the weather was perfect. So Jeremy spent the day with us watching jousting, a magician, glass blowers, metal workers, and leather makers. It was fun, and the best part? I got to count it as a school day! :)
