Where does my daughter get her fashion sense from? Definitely not from me. She’s bold. She’s colorful. And she’s always well accessorized!
In the picture above you can see that she is wearing a leopard print dress that is WAY too short. She solved that problem by putting a black skort on underneath. (“It makes it easier to go down the slide, too” she told me.) The knee socks are pink and being worn with her Little Mermaid tennis shoes that light up when she takes a step. There are rings on both hands. The headband sports a light blue hair bow and my personal favorite are the pink sunglasses!
If you think I am having a good laugh at my daughter’s expense you would be wrong. I am slightly envious of her ability to put together an outfit and wear it confidently…no matter what anybody else thinks. She is constantly trying to get me to wear rings, mine or hers, and put on some makeup around the house. Being that my taste would be described as more of a fashion faux pas, I try not to discourage her. Maybe one day, she can tell me what to wear!

I only hope that one day we can SHARE clothes with our daughters. That would sure say a lot for our bodies! By the way,
she gets her confidence from you, Mom!
She has “elan”…and I’m thankful you’re not trying to curb it! Terriffic kid — great mom!!
PS: Couldn’t help but notice Emery in the background (#3), keeping his 4 wheeler on the pavement. :)
“Accessorated?” – exactly what time did you write this post?
