Today is my husbands birthday, and in honor of this special day, a post…just for him.
Dear Jeremy:
~I love you for the way you love me.
~I love you for the beautiful children we created together. You are a wonderful father to them and they are lucky.
~I love your perseverance. The mortgage crisis has hit us hard and for 13 months you have been on your knees praying and fighting. And you have not given up.
~I love how you clean up the animal sacrifices that the cat leaves at our doorstep, even though you can’t stand her and never really wanted me to bring her home in the first place. And you do this without complaining.
~I love that you bring Emery to church on Sunday mornings. It frees me up to serve in the nursery at 8:30 and also gives me an opportunity to have “girl time” with Savannah on days that she and I go out for breakfast before hand.
~I love the concern you have over others. Your family, your employees, your friends. Their happiness, their personal growth, their love of people.
~I love how warm you are under the covers on chilly nights. You are my own personal heater, and you are not easily turned off (*wink*).
~I love the prayer time you have with the kids before bed each night. Even though some nights they are tired and restless, and it seems that they aren’t paying attention, I know you are building a firm foundation within them.
~And lastly, I love the passion you have at living life. Things that have happened over the past year may led you to question your purpose and the goals you had set for yourself, but I can still see passion in your eyes. And I love that about you!

Happy Birthday, Jeremy. As I have said before, you are a man of character
and God will reward you for your faithfulness! I thought of you guys all through
the lesson today!
Happy Birthday, Jeremy! I can’t believe I forgot all about it at church today! Some kind of friend I am!!! Hope you had a great one!
A priceless gift, this post. You are blessed with such a loving and thoughtful husband; he is also blessed that you RECOGNIZE these things in him and are willing to tell him (and all the world!!) Your family sounds so wonderful…and real! God bless you all.
This reminds me of the “25 things I love about Lin” that I did for him and that he then did his list about me. I cherish them. This is a good thing! Wish him a happy birthday from us!
What a wonderful post for -and about – your husband. Very sweet!
Happy Birthday!!
These words are precious and priceless!!
