It all began last year at this time when my mom and I took the kids to vist family in St. Louis. My aunt innocently brought out a bag of Hershey Kisses Cherry Cordials. How was she to know I couldn’t handle my cordials?
When I returned home from our trip, I searched frantically for another bag. Then another. And then another. After the holidays I realized they were Limited Edition kisses. What? How can this be? They are the most yummy and delectable of all the Hersheys Kisses!
By mid-March I knew I had survived the withdrawl symptoms. I gave up on Hershey’s and hoped they would make the cordials available again this holiday season. Then, a few weeks ago, one of my enablers (who also helped me get the goods last year), called me from Sams Club: “Guess what I just found? They have HUGE bags of Kisses Corials here! I am picking us each up a bag.”
And so it started again. I have bags on 2 of the 3 floors of my home. A bag in the office, one next to my computer right here, in the kitchen, and a stash in a secret drawer next to my bed. They were on sale last week at Walgreens, so I stocked up!
I am thinking that maybe it is a good thing that they are only available once a year. For one thing, I would be packing on holiday weight all year round and that would not be good. But also because it gives me something to look forward to. Something to scout the stores for to see if they have already sold out. Kinda like TMX Elmo and Playstation 3. Without the fear of being robbed on my way out to the car.
