Happy Mothers Day to me! I just got done reading this post from last year after Mother’s Day and I’m happy to report that I did get my day to spend all by myself. But if you know me, it wasn’t completely uneventful.
I won’t go into all the details. Let’s just say that my toe injury while preparing to have a hot cup of coffee on the porch this morning, along with throwing my hip outa whack last night bowling (don’t ask!) almost discouraged me from my day of shopping. ALMOST! I went anyways and enjoyed every minute that I hobbled around the Mall, Target, Archivers, and Belk’s before settling in for a manicure/pedicure with a nice cold Cherry Limeade from Sonic.
Whoo-Hoo! What a day!!! Thank you…Thank you…Thank you, Jeremy, for my most wonderful gift of time!!!!

Side Note: To be fair to our own Mothers, we took everybody out for lunch at the Blue Willow Inn after yesterdays ballet recital. Here I am trying to get a good Mother’s Day photo for my own scrapbook page. Too bad I don’t know how to use PhotoShop. Maybe between all 3 pictures, I could come up with something good! :)
This is the best pictures of me, but it’s too sunny for Savannah.
Now Emery is reaching for her hair. And I’m reaching for his arm.
Can you tell by the look on my face? I give up!!!

So glad you got your day! You deserve it. You are such a great Mom and friend!
If by some crazy chance you are reading this, Jeremy, WAY TO GO!!! I’m so excited (and jealous) to hear that Jodi got a day off! Could there be any better gift?
Aren’t you glad you tried? The pictures will bring back good memories of when they were small! I promise.
