After 2 weeks in the challenge, I am not seeing huge results. My weight goes up or down by just a few ounces. Not even a whole pound. What is that about? Today I am down .4 from where I started. Shoot…I could loose that in the morning after a strong cup of coffee!
But don’t worry, I am not discouraged. I have made a few healthy changes and it might take some time to see the results on the scale. The biggest being the amount of water I am drinking. Remember my mega cup? I take it with me everywhere. I’m not always able to drink 2 full cups per day (64 oz) because when I drink that much, I have to be near a bathroom. I am wondering if my bladder will ever get used to holding the extra water or if it will always keep me running to pee???
Anyhoo…the main thing is that I feel better than I have in a while. Water is really the only thing I am drinking because I have made a deal with myself that I can’t have anything else until I get the 64 oz in. Then, my “reward” is drinking whatever I’d like.
Oh, and another good thing is that the kids want to drink more water too. Well, mainly they just want to drink out of Mommy’s big cup with the straw, but when I fill mine up, I get them each some ice and water, and we are all making better thirst quenching choices! Yay us!!!

You are doing well, hang in there.
Way to go, Jodi! I’m glad to QT cup is working for you. I notice that with my kids too.
I guess that means we have to keep trying to set a good example.
I was doing really good with my water drinking until a couple months ago. I’ve been trying to do better! Great job, Jodi!
Keep up the good work…30 days encourages a habit! Stay encouraged and achieve your goals!
I have to pee all the time too! I don’t think my bladder can ever adjust.
Good job. It’s hard for me to get my water in. Keep up the good work.
Hey Jodi… have you thought about upping your protein intake while slightly lowering your carbs? That’s really helped me lately..
Let me know if you want more info..

I think when we start making these good choices, the results are not always immediate. Drinking water is a really important one. And I’m with Elizabeth on upping the protein. It’s really been helpful for me. :-)
