Fruit Inspection

Dee is the interior designer we use for our model homes as well as the spec houses in the subdivisions. If someone puts a contract on a house and wants to choose their own colors, she also meets with them and gives the buyer information on what selections they can change and/or upgrade. She began doing this for my father-in-laws’ company when I worked for him. I’ve known her longer than I’ve known Jeremy.

Dee is not only great at her job, she is a wonderful person. She has 2 adorable dogs (of which she has numerous funny stories) and is an Aunt to 4 beautiful children, that she loves as her own. She is one of my brother-in-laws’ closest friends and she has been on several family vacations with the York’s. As a matter of fact, she joined us on our recent trip to New York city in December. (Remember how much fun we had??? Ahhh…good times!)

Now Dee is spreading the love some more and adopting a baby girl from Vietnam. She began the process about 2 years ago and didn’t expect to have a little one until next summer. But they called her a few weeks ago and asked if she could come as soon as 3 weeks!

It was totally unexpected and when I talked to her she said she is soooo unprepared! I said, “Welcome to Motherhood!” I carried mine for 9 months and I still felt unprepared!!! Hee Hee!

Today there is a baby shower for her and this past weekend I made her this scrapbook:

There is 16 more pages to it, but those we a couple of my favorites. I thoroughly enjoyed working on it and thinking about what a great mom she will be to baby Addison. We are so happy for her!!!! Congratulations Dee!
