Fruit Inspection

This has just been the best week. And it seems to be getting better and better. First, we were offered 4 tickets to Georgia football’s game opener this weekend. Woo-hoo!!! We live for College Football season around here! Love it…Love it….Love it!!!! I haven’t been to a game in 8 or 9 years. For Jeremy it’s been even longer. We are soooooo excited about going! Tonight we are hoping to get to a mall or sporting goods store and purchase some Bulldog attire! :)

On Wednesday we put a contract on a lot for our new house. It is not the one we originally picked out, it’s actually in a small subdivision across the street. It is still the area we wanted and where we feel like God wants us to be. At first the owner wasn’t willing to sell. He wanted to build on it himself. But after a few phone calls and a face to face meeting, he agreed and even came down on the price! Can I get another woo-hoo???

Then yesterday it rained! A LOT!!! A huge storm blew through here around 4:00 in the afternoon. It was wonderful. I went outside to enjoy it on the screened porch until the lightning got a little too close for comfort.

I guess it poured for about an hour. When it stopped I went outside to gather up the cat trap I wrote about the other day. I set it up early in the morning but didn’t trap anything. I knew the rain had made the food soggy, so I headed outside to clean it out to re-set it. Well, turns out the food wasn’t the only thing that got soggy in the rain storm…

See? The week keeps getting better and better! :)
