WOW! I can’t believe how many menu planners posted their weekly menu’s yesterday on Laura’s site. Sorry, but I was non-laboring on Labor Day. So here is mine, a day late:
Yesterday: Cooked out with friends who made a yummy prime rib, along with roasted potatoes, and a fresh salad. I brought baked beans and cupcakes.
Tonight: the kids were supposed to go to Papa’s, but he just called and had to cancel. So I think we’ll be dining with a different kind of Papa tonight…Papa John!
Wednesday: Usually I fix leftovers on a church night, but seeing as I haven’t cooked anything but beans this week so far, I am thinking a quick “breakfast for dinner” will work perfectly. I might even whip up a pan of Monkey Bread.
Thursday: Forgotten Stew, Yeast Rolls, and Banana Pudding for dessert.
Friday: I am hosting a crop at 5:00. I normally don’t cook, but am thinking of making a batch of Crockpot Mexican Dip to snack on.
Saturday: Grilled hamburgers, chips or french fries, and Strawberry Applesauce.
Gosh, not a lot of cooking going on for me this week. I guess I am carrying this Labor Day holiday into a weekly event! I promise to do better next Monday! :)

Totally feeling ya!! Our menu (which has NOT been posted) has a lot of eating out on it. Oh well, there’s always next week!!! :)
I think Friday’s plan is perfect! I’ll pitch in and bring something to go with! Let me know if you decide on the dip.
What a great menu, Jodi. FYI–the link to Forgotten Stew isn’t working for me–I’m curious about it though.
