I spoke to soon. Ya know the other day when I mention how nobody else got the stomach virus? Yeah. I spoke too soon. Savannah and I fell victim to it on Saturday. Is there anything as exhausting as running to the bathroom all night long, finally getting to sleep, then your 4 year old starts the exact same thing? By the time she finally gets to sleep the 2 year old is up and asking for breakfast and saying things like “play me?”.
But we made it through the day. It looks like a bomb went off in my living room, but we made it through the day and everyone is feeling better. And that’s what’s important.
I pray that Jeremy will stay well. Besides the fact that I wouldn’t wish retching all night long on anybody I love, I have big plans for this weekend and will be so totally disappointed if I have to stay home to take care of yet another sick person. Am I wearing a Red Cross???
I hope that didn’t sound too horribly selfish.
Anyways, due to the fact that food is still not very appealing to me, I only have a menu planned through Wednesday. And that is only because I do my shopping on Wednesdays, so my weeks are not Sun-Sat, but Wed-Tues. (who cares, right?) On to the good stuff:
Tonight: burgers on the grill and corn on cob
Tuesday: Rice Krispy Chicken and boiled potatoes
Wednesday: Planning to cook a ham, but I never have before. Looking for a good recipe. Anybody got one?
Thursday-Saturday: Some leftovers I suppose. Then I go out of town. More on that tomorrow.

Sorry you were sick, sounds terrible. I hope you feel 100% soon.

My favorite way to cook a ham is on the grill. Let me know if you’re interested!
