Okay, I’m making out my menu and we all know what that means…it’s a brand new week! Yay! And this week, with the weather turning a wee-tiny-bit cooler (at least at night), I’m going to try a new soup recipe I found over at Jenna’s Fare. Here’s what’s cookin’ the rest of the week:
Tonight: Hawaiian Chicken and brown rice
Tuesday: Spaghetti, salads, and parmesan bread sticks
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: Breakfast for dinner
Friday: Mexican Soup and sweet cornbread
Saturday: We are tossing around the idea of having some friends over, cooking out, and watching the Georgia game.

Looks like a great week, Jodi. Just so you know, that soup will feed your family 2-3 times. It will freeze well, if you need to. Have a good week.
The Secret Like of Bees is a fiction book about a girl who has lost her mother and is living with a black stand-in mother. After a run-in with racists, they move to a new town and live with 3 beekeeping sisters. It’s set in South Carolina in 1964–sounds really good. You are entered for the book giveaway. Have a great evening.
Had the soup tonight and loved it! And, yes, it makes quite a bit, so be prepared for leftovers! And, I used turkey meat instead of ground beef. It worked out well!
I was wondering if it was potato soup time at your house!
Looks very good.
I love cornbread, and the Hawaiian chicken sounds great! Happy eating this week!
