As I was cleaning Savannah’s bathroom, the kids were playing in her room with Cinderella’s castle and all the little royal people that go along with it. Savannah was Cinderella and Emery had Prince Charming who was knocking on the castle door. Savannah yelled out, “Go Away! No Prince’s Allowed!!!”
Emery yelled back, “No! It Okay! I not Princess Allowed. I a Prince!!!!”

Savannah got a Leapster for Christmas. She likes it, but Emery LOVES it! He plays with it all the time. His favorite game is Pet Pals, in which you select a pet and then take care of it by feeding it and buying it things with the points you earn in the games you play.
In the very beginning, when you pick the puppy you want to take home, a man’s voice comes on and asks you to take the “Puppy Pledge”. He asks if you plan to love your puppy and take care of your puppy, etc. And if you agree, you are supposed to sign the dotted line then hit okay to move on.
One day I heard Emery sitting on the couch reciting his pledge of allegiance over and over, until I realized the guy on the Leapster kept asking him to sign his “Puppy Pledge”, and Emery, unable to sign his name (or know what it means to sign his name) heard him ask for the pledge and so he gave him the ole pledge to the flag. Again, and again, and again.
