During one of the gloomy, rainy days we’ve had recently Savannah and I snuggled up in my unmade bed to have school time. She thought it was so much fun and it lead to a little bit of bonding. Laying there together, propped up on pillows beneath layers of blankets, we had a conversation that included this:
Me~ So are you enjoying homeschool?
Her~ Yes.
Me~ Tell me one thing you do NOT like about it.
Her~ The first page.
Me~ Well, what is something you DO like about it.
Her~ The last page.

Amen, little sister!!!! I hear ya!
… I meant to tell you… if you hadn’t already read it, check out Bring the Rain – she’s got another cute post about her homeschooling –
“The Chicken”. : )
Nothing like honesty. At least she didn’t say “The teacher” for her first response:)
“Like mother, like daughter”. (I may have mentioned that before.)
A cozy schoo dayl in bed. One of the many reasons we homeschool.

Oh, no! We have felt that way some days. I keep trying to get my children to understand that the subjects they enjoy are school, too. My son tends to focus only on what he doesn’t enjoy. :(
Priceless! Their honesty is so funny sometimes.
