Well, it’s official. Punxsutawney Phil has predicted 6 more weeks of winter. Blah!
I heard they are calling for snow tomorrow in Georgia. Whatever! It was like, 60 degrees earlier today. Much, much earlier. Before the temperature dropped a million degrees and it started raining. And I suddenly needed to put on warmer clothes and make a pot of coffee.
Still. It rarely snows here so I’m not letting them get my hopes up.
Again.
I’ve fallen for that too many times since moving here. The weatherman tells us conditions are right. He just doesn’t say the conditions are at the top of Mount Yonah. For the rest of us Georgians, the conditions are right for a cold, bone-chilling rain.
Can you tell I’m looking forward to the next 24-48 hours? Have mercy!
