I completed my photography class! Woo Hoo!!! I am officially a graduate of “The Best Darn Beginner Course Ever”. And although I still have a lot to learn about the art of photography, I finally understand my camera! Holy crap! This is huge! I can shoot in manual!!!
Here are a few of my faves from the class:
Aperture, learning to focus on the subject and blur the background to your liking ~
Still motion, learning the proper shutter speed and ISO (which I actually had too high on this picture…but I learned how to bring it down) ~
This was my final picture for the class. An all-encompassing photo, if you will. Color, composition, exposure, and focus. She’s a tad off center, but these are the things I need to know! ~
I’ll have to say it was A LOT of information packed into 30 days. I spent 4-6 hours per week just reading the lesson and watching the videos. Then there was all the time I spent practicing and uploading my final shots. It wasn’t easy but I’m so pleased with the results.
At this point, I’m not sure what my future looks like in photography… but I can say one thing for sure… if nothing else becomes of it, at least my kid’s scrapbooks will be getting a much needed color boost this year! I can’t wait to put these bad boys in an album!!! Now, has anyone seen my paper trimmer???
