I love so many things about this picture. I love that Emery has found a new love in the sport of football. He wants to play it all the time. He and Jeremy sit and watch Monday night football, Sunday night football and college ball on Saturdays. The whole time it’s on, they are talking plays and passing the football back and forth in our living room.
I love that the boys we have school with on Tuesdays played a pick up game of football and Emery was there to get in on the action. It didn’t matter that there was a big age difference among the boys. They all played. The teens showing the younger ones what to do and how to do it.
I love the flag in the background. A reminder of this great country we live in. One that allows me to homeschool, while others have taken that right away. One that allows young boys to play while others send theirs off to war. One that still encourages it’s citizens to follow their dreams, whether it’s football, owning their own business, pursuing art, or being a stay at home mom. God bless America!!!
