Oh My! My “little” girl turned 12. TWELVE!!!! How is this possible? I mean, I’m still in my 30’s, right?!?!?!
For her birthday, I took her and a friend to have a spa day. (I should also mention here that me and the friend’s mom got in on the spa action as well.) The girls had facials and pedicures. (The moms had massages… I mean, hello? It’s stressful being the mom of a 12 year old girl! We had to relieve our tension!) Then the girls came back to our house to hang out before heading to Nana’s for birthday dinner, cake, and presents.
One thing that Savannah has been asking for for a couple of years is a guitar. This year we decided to let her have one. She will begin lessons after Christmas, and I can’t wait to hear her songs she’s written be put to music! Such a talented thing, this one.
