I love it when my You Capture for the week is spontaneous. We were at Nana’s on Sunday recovering from eating the MOST delicious southern fried meal EVER, when Emery got out the big green excercise ball.
Believe me when I say not a single one of us could have performed a sit up after what we ate!
Twice!!!!
So I took my little guy outside to let him play with it for a while and as I sat on the front steps rolling it back and forth with him, I remembered the challenge and grabbed my little purse sized Canon from the car.
My shape for this week? Round. Especially after going back for more fried food and homemade butter pecan ice cream later that night!
Emery took that one of me. He got the whole ball in the picture, but I played with the photo and turned myself a little crooked just for fun. I lost part of the circle in the process. Oh well. It’s still cute and surprisingly, it’s a picture of myself that doesn’t immediately make me say “delete”.
There are lots more shapes to be seen at You Capture this week. Check it out!

Emery is quite the photographer as well!
I like Emery’s haircut! What a handsome little guy! And you look good, too! You must trust him a lot to let him use your camera….I don’t think I would let Ava use my Rebel…does that make me a bad mom?
Fun! It’s even more fun that Emery got in on the action. Great shots!
you’re beautiful, jodi, and i like the shot with you in it – i like the color of the ball against the sky. the brightly colored ball was the perfect choice for this week’s challenge :O)
i haven’t posted yet this week, but you are always welcome to visit my blog anytime :)
Great shots. I love the one of you. You can still see the circles on the ball, it reminds me of tree rings.
it is a really cute picture, both are.
Those are really good. Looks like you had fun too.
Great captures!! I love when people post themselves and we can put a face with a writer! You look terrific!!
Oh, sweet girl, you are so adorable!
Mark,Nice post but how about my blogger blog? I think it’s ptrtey well optimized but I’m sure there are still tons of things I could do. Or do I just transfer it to a wordpress blog? I’ve heard that the big G doesn’t like posts/ blogs being deleted so is transferring seen in the same light? My whole Google setup will get penalised? Thanks, Martin
