So last week we went on vacation to Orlando for a few days before driving over to Port Canaveral to get on a ship for a few more days. We mostly hung out at the pool at Orange Lake since Jeremy had to do some work in Florida while we were there. One of the days he had free we went to Dinosaur World.
Once it was time to head to the port, both kids were beyond excited! They had never been on a cruise and seeing the boat from the parking lot left them speechless! And truly, even once we got ON the boat, it was still a lot to take in.
It was a short weekend cruise with only 2 stops: Bahama’s and Coco Cay (Royal Caribbean’s private island). Savannah and Emery swam in the pools from the moment they got up until way past the midnight buffet hour! They watched The Lego Movie on the pool deck’s big screen each night, wore out the free soft serve ice cream machine, searched for shells and crabs on the island, and Savannah enjoyed a late night comedian after dinner one evening.
The weather for the whole trip was delightful. No rain and lots of sunshine!
