Fruit Inspection

I was just catching up on some blog reading and noticed that my sister Bag Tagged me. So, since the kids are still sound asleep (another great perk to playing outside in the sun and water), I took some snap shots of my summer purse.

I am no longer traveling with a large diaper bag (thank God) that must include several diapers, snacks, drinks, and Tylenol, not to mention my things! But since I do carry 1 diaper (with extras in the car) and a few wipes (for more than just his bottom!) I like a bag that is tall, rather than wide. This is also useful when I need to bring a sippy cup along.

This Fossil purse meets all my needs, and then some. The front zipper pouch has slots for credit cards, drivers license, and health insurance cards. I can store cash there too and it eliminates the need to have a wallet.

The main part of the bag holds the diaper and wipes, my favorite Bible, and the checkbook all standing up. There are 2 additional pouches inside where I keep the travel fragrance With Love…by Hillary Duff and some lip gloss from Estee Lauder called Blush (because ya just never know when a girl might need to smell and/or look good, and it’s nice to be prepared).

Another feature of this purse is hard to see in the picture. On either side is a snap pocket, just the right size for my cell phone. On the other side I carry a small container of hand sanitizer and a lip balm with SPF 30 that tastes like a Bahama Mama (for really no reason other than…YUM!).

So there you have it. Now I’d like to see the bags of Elizabeth (because you and I are so different, I can’t wait to see what a London-er carries) and also Beth (because after seeing the adorable shoes you purchased last week, certainly you must carry an equally adorable purse!). :)
