I was busy yesterday having lunch with my sister in law, then came home to my very own sister and we downloaded songs into my iPod all afternoon. It was fun trying to trigger each others memory for cool songs from the 80’s and 90’s. This morning as the kids and I were driving home from Walmart I was rockin’ out to some Loverboy tunes and I turned around to see Savannah looking at me like I had really lost my mind, and Emery was fast asleep! Okay, so it was Loverboy…maybe I should have cranked up some Def Leppard?
ANYways…my menu plan didn’t get done until this morning. While the munchkins were eating their breakfast I quickly put together a plan and a grocery list. We headed out the door and when I pulled into the Walmart parking lot and opened my purse I realized I had forgotten the list!!! And this was also after I had just lectured Savannah about being responsible because she wanted to buy a bag of Skittles but left her allowance money at home. Nice one, Mom!
The menu for the week is as follows:
Tonight: Roast, potatoes, carrots, yeast rolls, sweet tea
Wednesday: Roast beef sandwiches, Cheetos, brownies
Thursday: Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, green vegtable
Fri-Sunday: We are taking our employees to Gatlinburg (a belated Christmas gift for them)

LOL – I had to laugh at the description of your i-Tunes; mine has some blasts from the past too (does anyone remember Come On Eileen? how about Brass in Pocket?).
It drives Brian crazy the stuff I download!
That’s funny! That sounds like me, I’m always hurrying to get everything together so I can get to the store.
If I do have a list, I usually leave something off of it!
Gatlinburg will be fun! Have a great trip!
Another thing we have in common-LOVERBOY! I went to a ZZ Top concert that Loverboy was opening up for but did
not stay for ZZ Top! “Everybody’s Workin for the Weekend” will always be etched in my mind. Hoe fun to
have that time with your sister. Now where did I put that album with the red leather pants on it?
