I’ve seen some fellow bloggers write “100 Things About Me” and I thought that was a great idea. But as it’s time to actually make the list, I am thinking two things: What are 100 things about me, and Who would want to read 100 things about me? So with that in mind, I will start to jot down whatever pops in my head and we’ll see how far I get.
This Is Me:
1. My full name is Jodi York
2. I do not have a middle name
3. No, I am not making that up because I do not like my middle name
4. I was born in Illinois
5. My birthday is Christmas Eve
6. The comment I’ve heard most often about my birthday is “awww, that’s terrible”
7. Until I moved to Georgia, and now I hear “awww, bless your heart”
8. Having my birthday at Christmas doesn’t really bother me anymore
9. As long as you follow the rule
10. The rule is: birthday presents should be wrapped in birthday paper and Christmas presents should be wrapped in Christmas paper. A birthday present wrapped in Christmas paper is actually a Christmas present. Thank you, but try again!
11. I’ve lived in Georgia since 1990
12. I like it here better than Illinois because the sun shines in the winter

35. Do not marry a builder if you do not like to move

38. I got to pick her middle name because do you really think he would argue with the woman who just endured natural child birth?

40. Our son was born in 2005
41. We named him Emery
42. Again I picked the middle name but for entirely different reasons than #38

88. We did not have a fast food restaurant
89. We did have an ice cream stand in the summer where we’d hang out after softball games
90. We lived 1 mile from town on the bank of the Fox River
91. There was a train tressle on the south side of our property
92. Some people would walk the tressle over the river to get into town…but NOT ME!
93. I am a chicken
94. We raised chickens for a few years and sold their eggs to other people banned from the town grocer (just kidding)
95. But we really did raise chickens

And the 100th thing about me is: I am crazy about my husband, wild about my kids, devoted to my family and friends, and love the Lord!!!
And that about covers it!
